사람과 사람, 사람과 사물 사이에는 보이지 않는 교감들이 존재한다. 청담 여백은 계절에 따른 음식뿐만 아니라 사람들 사이의 다양한 문화와 이야기, 작품들을 담을 수 있는 공간으로, 여백의 공간이 채워지며 서로 연결되고자 하는 바람이 담겨 있다.

먼저, 입구에 들어서면 카운터석이 바로 보이지 않도록 떠있는 갤러리 벽을 거치도록 했다. 벽을 경계로 바깥쪽 그레이톤의 갤러리 복도와 대비되도록 안쪽에는 밝은 홀을 두어 셰프가 요리하는 모습과 음식을 무대 위 공연과 작품처럼 느껴지도록 연출했다. 셰프와 작품이 부각될 수 있도록 아트월을 비우고 화로의 전면이 고객쪽을 바라보도록 위치시켰다. 또한 주방으로 이어지는 동선은 자연스럽게 아트월 뒤로 숨겨서 여백의 컨셉을 이어 나갔다. 가벽 뒤로 숨겨진 프라이빗룸은 예약 고객만 경험할 수 있는 아지트공간으로 히든도어를 사용하여 더욱 내밀한 느낌을 주었다. 어두운 바탕에 대리석상판과 장식장을 조명으로 강조하고, 좁고 나지막한 공간에 거울기둥을 두어 확장과 착시효과를 적극 활용하였다.

  There are invisible exchanges that exist between people, and between people and objects. Yeo Baek is a space designed to embrace not only seasonal cuisine but also the diverse cultures, stories, and artworks shared among people. It embodies the hope that, as the empty space becomes filled, new connections are formed.

 Upon entering, visitors are first greeted by a floating gallery wall that conceals the counter area from direct view. The wall acts as a soft boundary: the outer corridor, finished in subtle gray tones, contrasts with the inner hall, which is bright and open. This creates a stage-like setting where the chef’s movements and dishes can be appreciated as both performance and art. To emphasize the chef and his creations, the art wall is intentionally left bare, while the hearth faces the guests directly, forming the visual centerpiece of the space.

 The circulation leading to the kitchen is discreetly hidden behind the art wall, continuing the concept of Yeo Baek — the beauty of emptiness and restraint. Behind a partition lies a private dining room, accessible only to reserved guests, its entrance concealed by a hidden door to evoke intimacy and exclusivity. The dark-toned interior is accented with a marble countertop and softly lit display shelves, while mirrored columns are used to amplify the sense of depth and spatial illusion within the low, narrow space.
