모든 사람은 세상을 향한 관찰자이다. 관찰자와 그의 시선은 항상 움직인다. 건축과 공간을 탐구하면서 함께 염두에 두는 것은 '시선'에 관한 것이다. 공적인 것과 사적인 것을 구분하는 잣대가 되기도 하고, 빛, 물성이나 착시에 의해 왜곡되기도 하며, 주체나 객체의 움직임에 의해 시시때때로 변하기도 하는 '시선'은 단순히 '시각'적인 장치들과 구분되는 매력이 있다.

When I picture some space,
I always consider my eyes' movement.

For an occupant of the space,
the scene cannot be fixed like a still life.

As time passes and the observer moves,
the space has infinite potentials.
